AIST-2D successfully tested

On April 28 the AIST-2D satellite was successfully launched from the new Vostochny spaceport. Several days ago mission control tested the on-board memory and downlink. It was a complete success.
Our company supplied X-band downlink transmitters with 150 Mbps throughput and flash memory modules (160 GBytes capacity) for the AIST-2D. This is the first flight test of the new generation transmitters (PRD3), and we are quite satisfied with the results.
